Design programming solutions to test software programs on various platforms. Analyze and baseline scope defined by the client. Analyze current state of testing and requirements for automation. Select and prioritize applications and functionalities for test automation. Evaluate and select test automation tools. Estimate and plan for development of test automation framework. Define an organizational model, processes, and standards for implementing test automation. Develop a roadmap and detailed implementation plan for test automation. Guide the team implementing test automation. Develop, maintain and unit test application program code. Guide development team in implementing Unit Test frameworks like JUnit, NUnit. Perform peer code reviews. Research, interpret, and build knowledge of applications and program code. Create technical documentation. Coordinate multi-application changes, using Test Automation tools like QTP, Selenium, Web Driver and performance testing tools like Jmeter and Load Runner.
